Role: Analytical Coordination Specialist

In the entry-level role of Analytical Coordination Specialist, the ideal candidate will gain exposure to a broad spectrum of statistical techniques and applications in quantitative research. In this key support role, you will complement the analytical team by providing analytical support and analysis for the Consumer Product, Retail/Services or Transportation/Technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in mathematics or quantitative methods and the desire to learn, grow and be challenged.

This position will also be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of Consumer Village, Gongos Research’s on-line community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support ongoing respondent recruiting efforts
  • Identify appropriate sample for new surveys
  • Support communications with community members
  • Serve as a moderator for Consumer Village
  • Monitor community members

Job Requirements:

  • A BA in mathematics, quantitative business administration, or the social sciences
  • Comfortable with numbers and data collection
  • Strong aptitude for analysis and writing
  • Introductory knowledge of SPSS, SAS, or another statistical data analysis program
  • Previous exposure to marketing research, a plus
  • Oriented toward detail, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to build strong rapport with all areas of the company (our internal clients)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Marketing research, name list/sample/panel or database management experience is a plus
